Years
of hard work, perseverance, training, and
education paid off…
As
the Owner and Fitness Director of Muscleworx Personal Fitness
Systems, Jason Morgan has trained clients
across the
USA, from North Carolina to the state of Washington.
Jason
has contributed to various magazines and
internet
publications, and has been a featured
fitness
consultant for a variety of newspaper and magazine articles,
as
well as for TV and radio appearances. Pretty exhilarating
stuff
for someone who was once an overweight, unathletic child. The
discovery of a
high school athletics changed all
that…
Background
Jason's
exposure to fitness started in the heyday of Nautilus, leg
warmers, and Duran Duran (You can probably guess the
decade). Years of influence from a father who was a
competitive
power lifter and bodybuilder, lead to dreams of one day making a living
in the industry. After a brief period in the fields of food service and
entertainment, Jason returned to what he had a real
passion
for-helping people reach their fitness goals and changing
their
lives in
the process.
Training & Certifications
Jason
is an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer,
Certified Sports
Nutritionist, and has multiple specializations in dealing
with
special needs clients. He currently holds an American
Heart
Association CPR/AED Healthcare Provider certification as well.
Jason attends many seminars, classes and conferences
each
year in order to stay on top of the latest research and
training
methods.
Experience
Jason's
clients have included dancers, models, actors, doctors, lawyers,
nurses, entrepreneurs, politicians, investment brokers,
housewives, priests, teachers, students, event promoters,
military officers, accountants, journalists and athletes, just
to name a few! He enjoys the challenge of creating
effective
workout routines that fit in with a person's unique
lifestyle,
schedule, and needs.
The
most challenging and rewarding part of Jason Morgan's work
involves training people with various health problems. He has
helped clients with heart disease, hypertension, high
cholesterol,
obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis, chronic pain, post-rehab,
and many other conditions. Jason works in conjunction with a
client's doctor or physical therapist in setting up safe and effective
exercise programs to help
improve their
quality of life.
